A case has come to light in Gaya district of Bihar where miscreants murdered a 70-year-old woman by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon. After the incident, the police of the local police station arrived and took the body in their custody and sent it to the hospital for postmortem. At the same time, they started investigating the case. Also, forensic and dog squad teams have been called to collect evidence from the crime scene, which are engaged in the investigation.
This entire case is from Nanoka village of Buniyadganj police station area of Gaya. The deceased woman was identified as 70-year-old Daulat Devi, wife of late Vishnu Prajapati. However, after the death of her husband, the woman was living at her elder brother Kashi Prajapati’s house. The police took the body into their custody and sent it to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital for postmortem. At the same time, the police started investigating the incident. However, the police called the forensic investigation team and dog squad team to collect evidence from the crime scene.
There were 12 armed goons
In this regard, the deceased woman’s sister-in-law Chamoli Devi said that she had gone to sing bhajans on Janmashtami late on Monday night. She reached home around 12:30 late at night. She closed the door and went to sleep in the courtyard. Meanwhile, 10 to 12 armed youths entered the house and started fighting with Bhabhi. During this time, the miscreants slit Bhabhi’s throat with a sharp weapon. I fainted after seeing this. When I regained consciousness, I informed the neighbors.
Also, at the time of the incident, my husband and children were out. I informed them about this. He said that after the death of her husband, Bhabhi was living with us for a year. However, people around are suspecting that this murder may be related to land dispute. Police is also investigating that angle. In the murder case, the brother of the deceased woman has filed a written complaint against eight people in the police station.
